Computing Hardware Ecosystem
The full compute stack for modern robot systems — from edge inference to full autonomy platforms.
KPU — Kinematic Processing Unit
Dedicated silicon for real-time kinematic chain computation, joint trajectory planning and inverse kinematics offload. Enables sub-millisecond control loops in humanoid and multi-DOF robotic arms. Partner-distributed hardware.
APU — Actuator Processing Unit
Low-latency actuator control processors managing torque, velocity and position loops across distributed joint networks. Designed for high-DOF systems requiring deterministic, jitter-free servo response.
GPU & Edge AI Accelerator
NVIDIA Jetson Orin, Orin NX, and partner AI compute modules for onboard perception, SLAM, manipulation planning and foundation model inference. Matched to your robot’s thermal and power envelope.
CPU & SoC Platform
High-performance ARM and x86 SoC platforms for robot OS (ROS 2), sensor fusion, communication stacks and HMI. Includes Intel NUC, Rockchip RK3588 and partner-specified compute boards.
Vera RAI — Robot AI Module
The Vera RAI is a partner-distributed compute module purpose-built for embodied AI robots. It integrates neural inference, real-time sensor fusion and robot OS runtime into a single compact carrier board — designed to reduce integration complexity on humanoid and mobile manipulation platforms.
Neural Inference Engine
Onboard NPU optimised for transformer-based manipulation policies, foundation model inference and vision-language-action (VLA) model execution. Supports quantised models at sub-10W power draw.
Sensor Fusion Runtime
Hardware-accelerated IMU pre-integration, stereo depth processing and point-cloud fusion. Deterministic latency pipeline for whole-body state estimation.
Robot OS Integration
Native ROS 2 support with DDS middleware, EtherCAT master stack and hardware abstraction for joint control buses. Drop-in for existing ROS-based robot architectures.
Note: Vera RAI is partner-distributed hardware, not RobTronic in-house R&D. Availability subject to partner allocation. Contact us to discuss your project requirements.
Controller Enclosures & Harness Integration
Every compute module we supply can ship with a purpose-built controller enclosure and fully integrated wire harness — machined in-house, wired to your pin-out spec.
CNC Controller Enclosures
Aluminium or steel enclosures CNC-machined to drawing. EMI shielding, DIN rail mount, panel-cut IO ports and anodised finish options. Toleranced to ±0.01 mm. Rapid prototype in 3–5 days.
Harness Integration
Custom wire harnesses connecting compute boards to actuator buses, sensor inputs and power rails. Wired and tested to your pin-out. EtherCAT, CAN FD, RS-485 and USB 3 topologies supported.
Integrated Kit Delivery
Compute module, enclosure and harness consolidated into a single pre-tested kit. Drop-in ready for your robot assembly line. One shipment, one point of contact.
⚠ Export Compliance
All computing-related orders — including KPU, APU, GPU, CPU and Vera RAI modules — are subject to export compliance review before order confirmation. RobTronic will conduct an end-use and destination check in line with applicable trade regulations. Orders to restricted destinations or for restricted end-uses cannot be fulfilled.
KPU and Vera RAI are partner-distributed hardware, not RobTronic in-house R&D.
